Hello World! Please share any ideas or experiences you have in mood swings. I’m certainly not the only human in the world that faces those grim moments when you just cannot kick the bad mood!  Some obvious resolutions are surrounding yourself with positive people, doing things that make you happy, etc. I’m thinking if we collectively share experiences and ideas, maybe we can find a happier, healthier lifestyle. So, World, I ask you, are you moody much?..

  1. Think this is a brilliant idea! My friend recently set up a well being blog and I was surprised at the amount of people that were openly honest about their daily struggles with the every day. It made me question my reactions to certain situations and the way I live my life. Although I have a strong relationship, great job that I enjoy, as well as my health and a fantastic group of friends and family I do often have feelings of unfulfillment. I’m a pragmatic person so I can usually rationalize these feelings away but sometimes I do trivialize all the good things I have in my life. The best thing for me (as basic as this sounds) is making sure I get showered and ready for the day-nothing worse than free time sat in my PJ’s wasting the hours away! I also have a big park round the corner from where I live, walking and taking in the fresh air, as well as all the natural things around me really does filter out all the negativity! I love reading, and anything creative-buying a cheap canvas and making some art for your home, making a photo album and/or scrapbook is great for building memories of all the fun things you’ve done. I’ve recently took up a new hobby of badminton, I hate sport by the way-dread it! But having something to look forward to goes a long way! Love the idea of sharing experiences and hope to pick up some idea!

    1. Thank you! I will be watching your posts! I love the different outlooks, it really helps define ones self! I am mostly a happy person, love my family, like my job, but not the pay. Always staying busy and searching for purpose. My kids are my everything and they’re growing up so wonderfully, my relationship is also great, but I too face moments of unfulfillment. Badminton is AWESOME! I hope you enjoy!

  2. Mood swings seem to go hand in hand with the weather, hormones (if you’re female), and just everyday life. I agree about surrounding yourself with positive people. You can also take some time for yourself and do something that makes you happy, rather it’s reading a good book, soaking in a hot bath or buying something you have been wanting. These things and keeping a positive attitude can all help those days where u feel the blues.
